CHASE & CHASE

Zarina Rahman, an employee of Windermere Real Estate in Carlsbad needs help from her community. Struck recently with an accident that broke her neck, and spending several weeks in ICU;  she will now require months of rehabilitation to regain control of her lower body. 

Originally from Singapore, Zarina started her life in high gear.   She earned a BA and Certificates in Education and in Public Speaking while in Singapore; then began a career in forming and managing technological systems.  Twelve years ago she came to the United States to earn an MA in Diplomacy and International Relations.  With degrees in tow and eventually a Department of Real Estate license, Zarina Rahman grabbed a star in the San Diego real estate industry, where she put her technological specialties to work in marketing and transaction management for area companies.

Zarina faces mounting hospital and rehab expenses far beyond her means.  Zarina needs help.  She’ll be in a rehabilitation hospital for some time, doing her part by bravely facing the physical and mental difficulties ahead.  She’ll have good days and some really bad days; but having fewer financial worries in the coming months will help keep her fighting spirit alive. 

Zarina Rahman has excelled in everything she’s done.  A lover of travel and the outdoors, she meets a big wave while surfing, a fast slope while snowboarding and a sharp turn while sailing.  Now she faces incredible pain and lengthy rehabilitation.  It wasn’t while enjoying one of her favorite sports.  She had just bought a home she was creating to make her own and she had the accident.  Zarina begins the biggest challenge yet in her young and productive life.

There will be a fund raiser for Zarina at the Sheraton June 24^th, beginning at 4pm, tickets may be purchased from Bob Chase bchase@cox.net at $20.00 each which includes entry to the event,  food, silent and real-time auction from donated gifts from local merchants, music and more.
